2016's garden theme continues.
Last year, I got involved with drawing gardens at the National Trust properties of Bourne Mill and Stowe, along with the New Town gardens in Colchester and there are more gardens this year too. Several plans I cannot reveal just yet, but one I can share is that I am returning to the New Town Open Gardens event (next Sunday 3rd) to produce illustrations for their 2018 calendar.
Open Studio.
This summer, I am preparing for September's Colchester & Tendring Open Studios, and this is the first time I have participated. I will send full details later, but here are the times and dates you could visit me:
2 - 6pm on 9,10,16,17,23,24,30 September and 1st October.
Evenings 6.30 - 8 pm on 10th and 24th September.
Or by appointment throughout September.

Wondercrump draw 'n walk at Roald Dahl Museum.
On August 20th and 23rd, I invite you to join me for a sketch walk to explore the beautiful countryside around the Roald Dahl Museum, stopping to draw along the route.
I will help you draw your own versions of Fantastic Mr Fox’s wood and other spots that inspired Roald Dahl’s stories.

Pen & Ink Basic Course in Colchester.
Tutored 2 hour classes covering line, hatching, stippling, and wash techniques using fine liner pens. Each class includes a demo, group and 1-to-1 tutoring.
