Do you have an aspiring athlete in your club or team?
What better way to reward and showcase Mackay's talent then by nominating them for the annual PAYCE North Queensland Sports Encouragement Bursary.
Mackay Regional Council and the North Queensland Sports Foundation (NQSF) are calling on young athletes and future sports stars to nominate.
The winners will receive an unique embroidered track suit jacket along with a cheque for $650.
This money can be put towards development or representation costs in your chosen sport.
Applicants must be aged 17 years or under during the year that the bursary is awarded.
For example, for this year's bursary, applicants must still be under 18 on December 31, 2016.
