Dear Milliken Church Family,
What a great time of year the Lord has given us, with plenty of warmth, sun and even rain to keep the grass green. We trust you are giving thanks during these mild opening days of summer. We write to share two important reminders about this coming weekend at Milliken Church.
First, on Friday through Sunday will have our section of Kennedy Road blocked off between Steeles and the church. Taste of Asia Festival the annual. We will only be able to reach the church parking lot from Harvest Moon Drive, or from the north end of Clayton Drive. Visit our website for more information about the closure and directions around it.
Second, this coming Sunday our 5 high school and university graduates will be leading us in the morning worship service. We will also be host Graduates Reception to congratulate them after the service. This is a light, informal reception, but we hope that you will stay to greet them. Our university graduates are Ryan Genereaux & Gloria Pickersgill. Our high school graduates are Alleyne Benjamin, Rishnika Boteju & Gwendolyn Pryor. Feel free to bring cards of congratulations, if you wish. We celebrate our young people's accomplishments and want to pray for God's guidance and blessing over their future.
