Professional Summer School

Understanding and Supporting Individuals with Dyslexia (Level 4)

Do you wish to enhance your skills to make your teaching even more effective and fun?

Attendance only: £750 (includes comprehensive handouts and lunch)

Attendance + Laser Learning 4 award: £1225 (includes comprehensive handouts, lunch, Laser Learning registration fee, tutor support and marking of assignments)

This course covers a variety of multi-sensory teaching strategies, which will enhance the learning of dyslexics and non-dyslexics alike.

Speech and Language Course for Parents

25 September - 16 October
Mondays 10 am - 12.30 pm

£160 or £45 per session

Parents and carers are warmly invited to join one or more sessions of this practical, interactive course focusing on the speech, language and communication needs of children in the 4 – 11 year age group.

The sessions will be facilitated by Sarah Murray who is an experienced Independent Speech and Language Therapist.

This Workshop is for students about to start their first year at university but those returning for their second or third year of study are also welcome.

To develop skills needed, and adapt existing strategies to the new environment.

Supporting Learners with Dyslexia/ Specific Learning Difficulties

Six weekly sessions:

15 September - 20 October

£250 full course or £60 per session

This is an exciting, very practical course for teaching assistants or anyone supporting learners with Dyslexia or Specific Learning Difficulties.
