The latest from Sue Chastain

Happy Independence Day! Your July coloring page is here along with my latest news and products.

Be Content

I hope you are enjoying all the simple pleasures of summer. Not just on holidays, but every day.

“Enjoy what you have rather than desiring what you don’t have. Just dreaming about nice things is meaningless—like chasing the wind.” ‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭6:9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Celebrating Freedom

Thanks to Jenny Luan for sharing her beautiful coloring of OrnaMENTALs "Freedom." This page is in the full size and portable version of Feel Good Words or you can get an instant download of the digital single from my shop.
Jenny is one of my favorite artists! If you are looking for more coloring fun for the holiday, check out Jenny's Statue of Liberty Anime style coloring page and more from her Etsy shop.

New: Fabric, Gift Wrap, and Wallpaper

I know Dad would have thought this was pretty cool. His magnolias painting has been made into fabric. I'm glad I was able to make this happen for Leah Doyle's clogging group and I can't wait to see the "Mississippi Steel Toe Magnolias" all decked out in this gorgeous custom fabric!

Check out my new shop on Spoonflower to find this design and a dozen more than you can get on 20 types of fabric, plus wallpaper and gift wrap. If there's a design of mine you'd like to see on Spoonflower, let me know!

Until Next Time...

God has been teaching me about trust lately. Last week I mentioned I had been struggling through some technical difficulties. I'll spare you the details, but I had five hard drives go bad within about a three week period. It was brutal. It may just be ones and zeroes but I was sure mourning the loss of so much of my hard work from the past several years. Long story short, after a lot of ups and downs and tantrums and fighting and crying, I finally turned it over to God, and guess what? I learned God even cares about my one and zeroes. In the end I was able to recover all the data I thought I lost. Praise the Lord, and may He bless Christophe Grenier, the developer of the free TestDisk software.

Don't forget to stop by our Facebook group Color, Create, Inspire to share the projects you're working on this week.

Blessings,

  -Sue
