We hope everyone is enjoying their 4th of July weekend! Ours has consisted of church picnics, lots of baking, family, seafood, and picking up our yearly supply of hay! We also celebrated today with a trip to Strawberry Banke in Portsmouth. It probably comes as no surprise that the gardens were our favorite part!

The cookies in your box today are our favorite old-fashioned, heirloom recipe. For the cookies, it's just flour, butter, sugar and eggs, and a little vanilla and almond extract to taste. For the frosting, it's egg whites, powdered sugar, milk, and cream of tartar.
