Reach For The Sky!

That’s our theme for this year’s Summer Programme with the FLA Kids.  We’re got another amazing week planned for the children, to impart them with wisdom, knowledge and understanding that will enable to them reach for the sky and achieve their potentials!

Last year’s theme was ‘Thinking Outside The Box’,  and we were worried (just a little bit) that we wouldn’t be able to top it!  Oh, but were we wrong?  We are so excited about having the children over with us for the Camp from August 14th to 20th...

In Other News...

The Girl Empowerment Training Programme with SAGE Foundation entered it's second month in June.  We had an average of 40 girls take part each week, as we focused on Child Abuse, after moving on from Children's Rights in May.  Our Partners and Volunteers from SAGE Foundation came along in June to meet the children and join in the training.

Youth Empowerment and Development Initiative (YEDI) partnered with us to take the children on a number of sessions in June.  They are returning in July and have promised to give each of the girls a free HIV assessment as well!  Barr. Taiwo Akinlami also joined us to talk to the children on Child Sexual Abuse.  They are really enjoying these sessions.  This month, our focus is on Puberty and Womanhood.
