Boise River Recedes,  Quail Hollow Summer Golf Special, Lessons and Leagues

Summer is in full swing.  Both courses are busy with Junior and Adult Golf Lessons, as well as Twilight League play.  Interested in lessons?  We have a variety of times for Juniors during the summer, as well as weekly adult lessons both in the evenings and on Saturday mornings.  Our instructors are available for private lessons to fit your schedule also.  Check our group lessons by course below:

Twilight Leagues - Session 2 at Quail Hollow
Interested in joining a Twilight League this summer?  Quail Hollow's Men's and Ladies Associations will start their Second Sessions in July and August respectively.
Men's Twilight League - July 27 - September 28.  Cost is $330 per person.  2-Man teams play different formats (best-ball, scramble, and chapman) over the 10 week session.  Maximum handicap spread between partners is 7 strokes and maximum handicap for league play is 27
Ladies Twilight League - August 22 - September 26. Cost is $215 per person.  This league is a 2-lady best-ball format over 6 week session.  Maximum handicap spread between partners is 10 strokes and maximum handicap for league play is 36.

Warm Springs Course Condition Update

The Boise River conditions had an affect at Warm Springs Golf Course.  While the course remained opened, holes #11, #12 and #13 had areas with heavy water since June 2.  With the water on the course, players had to choose their shots wisely.  During a couple of weeks in June, Hole #11 was an optional Par 3 due to the amount of water in the fairway.  As the Boise River levels have decreased, the standing water has also receded.  Holes #12 and #13 are in great shape as the standing water was minimal.  Hole #11 suffered from a significant amount of standing water in the fairway for several weeks.  This hole is now playable as designed (par 4 for white & blue tee boxes, par 5 for red tee box) where the areas that are damaged are marked as ground under repair.  As the turf dries up, our maintenance crew is working to re-seed the damaged areas; during the reseeding process these areas will continue to be marked as "ground under repair".  Please move your golf ball (without penalty) out of those spots to allow new grass to grow.  We expect all of the flood damaged areas to be recovered by late July.

 

Mid-Summer "Beat the Heat" Special at Quail Hollow

We realize that Quail Hollow is a tough course to walk any time of the year, but especially difficult during July when the temperatures soar in the valley.  On weekdays from July 17 through July 31, Quail Hollow will be offering 2-for-1 green fees where carts are an additional $14 per player. We are unable to offer this special rate on the weekends.
