2017 summer yoga teaching schedule
This Summer I won’t teach many public classes due to other obligations & holidays.
The EU council classes are cancelled & start again on 7 September. At the Sampoorna Yoga Studio I’ll be teaching 90 minute hatha yoga (Sivananda style) classes on these dates:
JULY: 1/7 at 10:30; 18/7 at 19:00; 29/7 at 10:30.
AUGUST: 3/8 at 19:00; 10/8 at 19:00; 12/8 at 10:30; 17/8 at 19:00.

Eggplant, quinoa roast
This delicious recipe combines eggplant, quinoa, a red pepper & zucchinis with a lemon, ginger & tamari sauce. It's perfect for now as all the vegetables are in season. The recipe is a true yogi recipe as it doesn’t contain any garlic or onions or other stimulants & is taken from the Sivananda Yoga Cook Book, a highly recommended cook book (available on Book Depository, free shipping)!

Bhujangasana
After Paschimothanasa and inclined plane asanas follows a series of back bend poses. The first one is the bhujangasana or cobra pose (Sanskrit भुजङ्गासन). There are multiple benefits, such as: strengthens the spine; tones the deep and superficial muscles of the back; stretches chest and lungs, shoulders, and abdomen; stimulates abdominal organs; combats constipation & tones the ovaries and uterus and alleviates menstrual problems.
