Mr. Dennard was born in Pineview, Georgia. He was the son of the late Benjamin M. Dennard & Verna King Dennard. Mr. Dennard was a retired master mechanic from Hazlehurst Mills and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hazlehurst.
Survivors include: Wife: Valerie Dennard of Uvalda; Daughter & Son-in-law: Evelyn & Keith Tatum of Wrightsville; Son: J. Richard Dennard of Fortson; Step-daughter: Claire Samantha Williams of Ellaville; Step-son: Philip Mosely of Charlotte; Sisters & Brother-in-law: Ann Livingston of Empire & Gay & John Kirkpatrick of Cochran; Brother & Sister-in-law: Benjamin K. & Ruth Dennard of Cochran; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews also survive.
Visitation will be Thursday 10 AM to 11 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Hazlehurst, 41 South Tallahassee Street, Hazlehurst, Georgia 31539.
