Volunteers Needed for Registration Day!

Date: Friday, July 7, 2017

Details: You will be helping Sacred Heart Community Service register thousands of families and 3,300 children to receive backpacks and schools supplies on this one-day event. Families start lining up before the sun comes up and by 8:00 AM the line spans several city blocks. The backpacks are given away at a separate event on the August 11th Distribution Day.

Time:

  • Shift #1 is from 8:15 AM to 11:15 AM.
  • Shift #2 is from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Location: Sacred Heart Community Service, 1381 S. First Street, San Jose, CA 95110

Volunteer: Sign-up online to volunteer and indicate which shift you want to attend.

Bocce Ball BBQ Raises $2k for Pack-a-Back

Thank you to all those who participated in the Bocce Ball BBQ fundraiser on June 27th. We raised $2,000 in donations to support Pack-a-Back. That's a lot of backpacks! It was a great evening with friends and family and brought our entire community together to support this great cause.
