Happy Birthday Kellsie!

It's time once again for the Kellsie’s Hope Foundation Annual States of Hope Campaign! Each year we launch this special campaign on Kellsie’s birthday, July 6th.  Kellsie was very determined to Raise Awareness of Childhood Cancer and our goal is to make her wish come true.

Did you know that 43 children are diagnosed with cancer every day?  Unfortunately, Childhood Cancer Research is vastly and consistently underfunded. By raising awareness and dollars, Kellsie’s Hope Foundation is hopeful that Childhood Cancer becomes a thing of the past.

Please help us Celebrate Kellsie’s Birthday by making a minimum $10 “birthday donation” and sharing information about the Kellsie’s Hope Foundation and the States of Hope Campaign with 5 people. If everyone donates and spreads the word, we can raise $500 or more from each state and turn the map GOLD, the Color of Childhood Cancer.  Our goal of raising awareness in every state on Kellsie’s birthday is how we honor her legacy.  All donations go directly to fund research for Childhood Cancers.

Please go to http://kellsieshopefoundation.com/states-of-hope/ or select the DONATE button below on July 6th, and let’s see how many states we can Raise Awareness in and turn GOLD.  Check back on our website and on Facebook to see our progress throughout the campaign!

And remember, There's No Place Like Hope!

Dream Wedding

Kellsie’s Hope Foundation was excited to grant 23 year old Joey his wish. This story may sound familiar, because it made headlines and was broadcast on the news!! (Click on the picture to see their story. See the full story at www.ksdk.com/news/local/making-a-difference/three-time-cancer-survivor-has-dream-wedding/447859706).  Joey, a patient at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, had relapsed not only once, but twice from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). He was only 3 years old when he received his first diagnosis. Joey was enrolled at Goldfarb School of Nursing and engaged to Caylee when he relapsed for the second time. The couple had hoped and planned for a big wedding, but that changed in May, 2016, when Joey had a bone marrow transplant.

Joey’s wish was to marry Caylee on the beach with family present and to celebrate back home at a reception with family and friends.

Kellsie’s Hope Foundation provided a beach house that both families were able to enjoy for the week, and then threw a reception for Joey and Caylee’s family and friends at home. Thank you for supporting Kellsie’s Hope and helping us provide Joey and Caylee a great start to their new life together. Congratulations Joey & Caylee!

Princess Reese

Kellsie’s Hope Foundation & Friends of Kids with Cancer partnered to provide 4yr old Reese and her family a return trip to Disney World. Her last trip to Disney World was cut short after only 2 days due to complications from her cancer. She had to be admitted into Florida’s Children’s Hospital. At such a young age, Reese is fighting for her life, and fighting the battle against Childhood Cancer. Reese has been fighting cancer since February, 2016, when she was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia).  Reese missed her Princess experience last time, but we made sure she was treated like royalty this time.

On June 19, Reese was surrounded by her loving family when she was called Home and received her Angel's Wings. Please join us in keeping Reese's family in your prayers
