3D Inspection App Launched on Spotscale Cloud
SpotInspection

The Spotscale cloud service now supports building maintenance and inspection through the new application SpotInspection. High-res images of roofs and facades are organized and easily accessed by clicking the 3D building model. The user can take accurate measurements on planes such as roofs or facades to calculate material consumption for renovation projects.
The app is included with the standard processing offering and available for instant sharing with the end-users over the web.

Making it Easier Than Ever to Request a Quote of Your Spot

For Spotscale customers that are not connected to drone pilots, we now offer a service to select an area of interest to be processed in 3D. When Spotscale gets the request, a drone pilot in the area will be contacted to provide the imagery to our cloud processing. A tentative estimated price including both the pilot's drone photography and the Spotscale 3D processing is instantly displayed.

The Architect's Perspective

The architect firm Brunnberg & Forshed needed a new way to visualize a large development in Stockholm and ordered a 3D model of the neighborhood. Architect Bjørn Holm liked that he could present his new development interactively and their artist Moa Zettervall used 3ds MAX to integrate their ArchiCAD model with the Spotscale neighborhood model to present the new city blocks.
