Welcome to Tableau at UNH News. We've got some important updates for the UNH developer community this month starting with testing for Tableau 10.3. We hope you will take some time to try out the new version and report back by July 20 if you run into any issues.

Tableau White Paper
Author Ellen Nadelhoffer offers up her ten best practices for building effective dashboards. This Tableau white paper provides tips that range from initial planning to refining and testing the finished product. Don't forget to read Ellen's list of some common mistakes to avoid at the end of the white paper.
UNH Tableau Server Upgrade Testing We are now testing Tableau 10.3.1 in the Tableau test environment (tableautest.unh.edu). Developers with server access will receive an email with detailed instructions. As always, until you hear otherwise, don't attempt to use a version beyond 10.1.8 for production purposes.

But, Tableau is so feature-rich already that we thought we should remind you of some existing tools that you may not already use.
