Come talk with your neighbours at the Stewardship Café, presented by the Stewardship Subcommittee, on September 30, 2017, from 9:30 am to 2 pm, at St. Thomas, Alta Vista. 2345 Alta Vista Dr. in Ottawa. Cafe conversation topics will include:
- Hospitality and Welcoming
- Stewardship among Children and Youth
- Environmental Stewardship
- Legacy Giving
- Preventing Volunteer Burnout
There will be a panel discussion about the benefits of having a year-round Stewardship Committee in your parish. In the afternoon, you will have an opportunity to identify the topics you want to discuss. A wide variety of stewardship resources and ideas for your parish will be provided to all participants. Overall, your knowledge about Stewardship will be enriched through a day of conversations and opportunities to learn and share.
Free of charge, the Café offers a place to learn more about stewardship,to gather new ideas and to have peer-to-peer conversations. Snacks, tea, coffee and juice are available at 9 am and lunch is provided.
