Volunteers Needed For Next Month's Chili Cook-Off!
Here's your chance to step up and donate some time to CJE and have fun doing it! We need volunteers to help make our Chili Cook-Off a success! We could really use some help throughout July soliciting and collecting auction items. We also need help staffing the event on Saturday, August 5th.
Silent Auction
Do you have something valuable that you’d be willing to donate to our silent auction? If so, we will come and pick it up from you if you are in the Bay Area. Do you have a weekend getaway house or special skill to share for a good cause? Or do you know someone who owns a restaurant? Gift certificates make great auction items. Proceeds from the silent auction comprise the main fundraising effort, so any items or services that you or your friends can donate are deeply appreciated!

Sat. August 5th - Chili Cook-Off Fundraiser in Marin
We hope you can join us on August 5th for Clish’s Annual Chili Cook-Off in San Rafael. We are grateful that Andy Clish has invited us to be the chosen charity for this annual fundraising event for the second year in a row.
This is a kid friendly event with yummy food and fun activities for all ages! There will also be live music from The Down Low Duo, The RING and The Chris Saunders Band!

Cost: Suggested Donation is $30 per person and $10 per kid. All Proceeds will go to CJE.

We encourage you to share remarks during their 30-minute public comment session. We will have Stop Court Crimes T-Shirts with us as our gift to you for a $20 membership. Tues. August 1st - Iron Springs Marin Fundraiser
As part of its Give Back Tuesday program, on August 1st, Iron Springs Pub & Brewery will donate 10% of all sales between 4PM - 10PM - including dine-in, take-out, and drink sales - to support the Center for Judicial Excellence!

The San Francisco Superior Court has finally set an August 4th hearing date in the CJP's lawsuit against California State Auditor Elaine Howle, an attempt to block her from doing her job.
We encourage everyone to attend the hearing at 9:30am on Friday, August 4th.

June 15th Board of Psychology Meeting Webcast
At last month's meeting, the CA Board of Psychology staff presented an overview of their handling and processing of child custody psychologist complaints, and the public was given an opportunity to respond.
