Throughout 2014-2015 I was invited to be artist in residence at JMW Turner's House, Sandycombe Lodge, in Twickenham (funded by Arts Council England). This exhibition is another opportunity to see the work produced during that time, alongside some new, large paintings made since then. Coinciding not only with an exhibition of Turner's work upstairs in the main Gallery of the Winchester Discovery Centre, it also celebrates the reopening of Turner's House to the public, after extensive renovation. Alongside some stunning photographs by Sarah Ketelaars, the work is a record of the house in it's beautiful, atmospheric, unrestored state. A moment in time.
