Final Game
For some of the teams, Saturday will be the final game of the Winter Season as finals will start next week. We wish to thank the players for their time and commitment and hope to see you back in the summer season.

Umpires Day
This week is Thank Our Umpires Day. Without our umpires we wouldn’t have netball. Please remember to thank the umpires at the end of the game. A special big thank you to our Wavell Netball Umpires.

Club Person of the Year

Wavell Netball Club is holding the first "Club Person of the Year". The purpose of this award is to acknowledge outstanding individuals who have shown dedication, commitment and made a significant contribution to netball in our Club.

Calling for nominations for President and Treasurer

Wavell Netball Club is calling for nominations for the President and Treasurer positions. If you wish to enquire about the roles, contact the Club Secretary at wavellnetball@gmail.com

As previousily announced, Wavell Netball Club has just joined the Amart Community Kickbacks Program

What does this mean for Wavell Netball Club?

If you are a Team Amart member ALL purchasers made at Amart Sports, Wavell Netball Club will receive 5% of that transaction in the form of in-store credits.
If you are not a Team Amart member you can simply register instore or online making sure that you nominate Wavell Netball Club as your local club to support. Please note that we are still waiting for Wavell Netball Club to be added to the Online Registration, however you can still go instore to join.

Umpire Beginners Training

The next BNA Beginner Umpires’ Course will be held on the following dates and times:

Week 1 – Wednesday 9th August 5.00 to 6.00 pm.
Week 2 – Wednesday 16th August 5.00 to 6.00 pm.
Week 3 – Wednesday 23rd August 5.00 to 6.00 pm.
Practical sessions will be held when Summer season commences October 3rd onwards
Cost: $75.00 (includes AANA Rule Book and whistle)
Age: Candidates MUST be 13
Registration form and payment to be received no later than 5th August 2017
