Live Workshop: Researching the Silent Generation - Solving the Mysteries of WW2 Military Service

Do you have family members who served in the U.S. armed forces in World War 2? Have you been searching for information about their military service, only to learn that most of the records were destroyed by fire in 1973? Or maybe you are a professional genealogist with clients who are trying to learn their families’ WW2 legacies.

If so, plan to attend Bill Beigel’s WW2 military records research workshop on August 17 at the Torrance Public Library Garden Room.

Millions of U.S. military personnel records were destroyed by fire in 1973.
Workshop includes Bill's step-by-step instructions for all branches of service, valued at over $300.
Join WW2 military records research expert Bill Beigel for a 2-hour workshop where you will learn how to research details of military service of Americans who served in World War II, both for those who came home and those who did not. Bill will also discuss why this research is important today, will share stories of people he's researched, and the market potential for professional genealogists who want to add this type of research to their service offerings.
