Kia ora Toru friend,

I hope you are keeping warm and well through these winter months. This newsletter is about connecting and networking and is packed with articles and podcasts to read and listen to by the fireside. And of course, it includes all the links to the upcoming Toru courses. After all, Toru style is all about hands-on, together, experiential, off line and real!

Chief Seattle

This beautiful quote on connectedness by Chief Seattle describes one of the main intentions of Toru Education, embracing a core principle of permaculture. We have gathered ways and views of a number of people resonating with this theme, ranging from local to international:

We may still huddle around the fire during the cold evenings, but out in the garden, it is already getting busy. There are plenty of broad beans to share, the garlic is spouting and daffodils are busy telling us about spring! Amazing how the garden keeps providing us with greens and flowers throughout.
