Thank you to CSUN's Neighborhood Partners in Action, and especially Doug Kaback, for keeping Valley Village in mind for special activities at the theatre!
On Saturday, July 15, we were able to attend the Teenage Drama Workshop's sensory friendly performance of The Lion King Jr.

On July 1, volunteers from Galpin Motors, "Galpineers," came out in force to scrub chairs for us! They were joined by Helene Chemel from VICA and friendly folks from Liberty Tax in Canoga Park. We had a great time! You just don't realize how much things need to be cleaned - and chairs get used every day!

We have recently started a Business Council at Valley Village as a way for small businesses and corporations to show their support and give back to their community. Valley Village Board Vice President Steve Beilinson, Valley Village Foundation Secretary Mark Levinson, Valley Village Emeritus Director Dennis P. Zine and Mike’s Roofing & Building Owner Mike Quiroga are all co-founders and chairs of the Business Council. Members are given unique recognition and invited to participate at Valley Village events.
