Craig Potton Illustrated Talk

Due to popular demand Craig will be presenting his illustrated talk in the Gallery on Thursday 28th September at 6pm.  The title of the talk is  "What might happen when you go to wild places - How the wilderness can rearrange your psyche". Don't miss out on this informative and entertaining evening.

Illuminate Festival
Craig was proud to present his first ever Lightbox as an entry in the Illuminate Nelson Festival running in central shop windows throughout July and August.  Craig's photograph "Mountains, Ladakh India", is a stunning example of incredible painterly detail and colour. When it is lit up it becomes breathtaking.

This photograph is also available to purchase as a small framed print for $280.

Craig's New Singular Project
Craig is launching an exciting new exhibition in the Gallery.  Each month Craig will select and oversee the printing of one image he loves, that has either not been published before or seldom ever exhibited. These photographs are unique because Craig senses in them a "singular image" standing alone, complete in themselves.
These photographs will be on display and available to purchase from 1 September 2017.

Holly Zandbergen and Craig Potton
We have four exciting new works in the front gallery from New Zealand artist Holly Zandbergen. Holly was inspired to paint landscapes based on photographs from Craig's book 'Craig Potton New Zealand.' It took Holly a couple of months to put together 10 paintings of different landscapes including mountains and coastal areas based on Craig's photographs.  While six of her paintings are off to a London gallery we are thrilled to be exhibiting the other four alongside the photograph that inspired each work.
COMING UP IN OCTOBER ....
Craig Potton Gallery + Store in conjunction with Gow Langsford Gallery in Auckland will be presenting an exhibition of some of New Zealand's most notable artists....more details coming soon!
