Dear Praying Friend,

We last updated you from the Philippines; we are now fully absorbed in visiting our supporting churches. We have been encouraged to see what God has been doing in our supporting churches. While we are only at each place for a short time, we have been delighted to see ministries remaining faithful to God’s Word and effectively serving His people. God is doing a work across the world! We are blessed to partner with some really tremendous churches.
Here’s a quick rundown of our travels in the last three months:
Some of the highlights of our travels have been a VBS in Charlotte and holding weekend conferences on Daniel or Revelation with several of our supporters. We are also deeply thankful to those who have shared rooms and meals with us, giving up their own privacy and letting us get to know them better. This is one of our main goals for our time here.
Online Teaching
Another blessing has been to see continued growth in the classes we are offering online. Each Monday and Thursday, more than 20 pastors and teachers around the world tune in to hear prime teachers on interpreting Scripture. It’s a weekly delight to be part of this project. Yesterday I taught the last class for our second course; we plan to launch a full curriculum and other resources later this year.
Finally, we rejoice to see the progress the Lord is giving on the BJMBC (college) building in the Philippines. Last month the total donations reached 90% of our total need, leaving $100,000 to be raised before the project is complete. Even now, the fourth floor is being poured and the schedule is on track for classes to move in next year. We’re amazed at what God is doing. The student body has grown significantly, which is a tremendous answer to prayer. It is wonderful to anticipate having our own building!

We will continue to minister with a different church each week for the rest of this year. What is that like? You can check our itinerary here or you can see some of the highlights on Instagram or Facebook. We don’t usually livestream long car rides, packing and unpacking, or the kids crying because we’re leaving new friends yet again; these are some of the weekly parts of our lives that don’t get seen. We would appreciate your prayers for grace, humor and wisdom as we travel this year. God goes with us, and each day makes us long more for our forever Home.
Joel, Sarah,
Jeremy, Zachary,
and Caroline Arnold
