Grasshoppers vs Giants

In Numbers 13, Moses sent the spies in to scout out the Promised Land that had been given to His chosen people given by God Himself. The spies found that the crops were luscious and over-the-top in quality and abundance, they were amazed and had to carry them on a pole as a team of men!
Yet despite the blessings that lay before them, they couldn’t seem to get excited or motivated. Once again, the Israelites were tested to trust God to keep His Word.
They had history with God and they had promises from God. Both showcased God as a faithful and abundant Provider. Still, they questioned His instructions. Again.

Dear Sister So-and-So...
"I'll never forget our first weekend of ministry together...the weekend after our wedding! Of all places, Chresten scheduled us to minister in his hometown at a little country church just outside of town. During the three-hour or so road trip, we discussed who would do what and giggled about how awkward it would be to stay the night for the first time together in his parents' home. That Sunday morning we arrived at the church early enough to get a sound check, set up Chresten's music cassettes (yea, it was 20 years ago, friends) and attend the Sunday School class that the Pastor's wife was teaching." Camp Meeting
If you live in the south Texas area, make plans to join Chresten Tomlin this next week, just 75 miles north of Houston, for the Enlarging the Territory Camp Meeting, taking place at First Assembly of God in Livingston, TX! The meeting kicks off Sunday morning, July 23rd, and continues through Wednesday night. Chresten will be preaching and ministering through song all day Sunday and again on Monday evening.
