Remember that some carrier sites are still not Chrome or Foxfire friendly and you may have to use another browser such as Internet Explorer to do the recertifications.  If you are using Microsoft Edge, you should revert it to IE to do your certifications so that you do not get to the testing and not be able to complete it,

On June 16, 2017, Cigna-HealthSpring resumed marketing and active enrollment of new customers in its Medicare Advantage (MA)and Part D prescription drug plans (PDP) for health care coverage beginning July 1, 2017 or after.

 

Cigna-HealthSpring requires all agents to complete a 30-45 minute refresher training course to ensure readiness and compliance.  This web-based refresher training is required before agents can order 2017 enrollment kits and resume selling Cigna-HealthSpring Medicare Advantage products. 

 

All agents must complete required 2017 Certification Refresher Training. 

 

Upon completion of your refresher training, you may resume selling immediately.

2018 Certification kicks off July 11

Starting July 11, you can complete the 2018 annual certification process for Aetna and Coventry Individual Medicare products (MA/MAPD, PDP). It’s one of the requirements you’ll need to complete to sell our 2018 products.

Print Your Registration Completion Certificate(s)

 

Take note! The Marketplace Learning Management System (MLMS) will be closed starting July 21 at 12:01 PM ET until training for plan year 2018 goes live in August.

 

Before this “go-dark” period begins on July 21 at 12:01 PM ET, you should:

  • Check that your MLMS profile is up-to-date
  • Print your Registration Completion Certificate(s) for the Individual and/or Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) Marketplace

 

Certificates showing you have completed plan year 2017 registration and training will not be available when the MLMS closes and will not be available when the system goes live in August for plan year 2018 registration and training.

 

Follow these steps to print your 2017 Registration Completion Certificate(s):

  1. Log in to the CMS Enterprise Portal.
  2. On the “My Status” page, the “Complete Agent Broker Training” entry will show “Complete” in the “Status” column if you have completed training.
  3. Select the “Print Certificate(s)” link and follow the prompts.
