Answered Prayer!
Bobbi Cannon, with Carol McGinnis (left) and Beverly Pratt (right).

Bobbie Cannon was baptized on Wednesday, July 12th.  Her determined search for discipleship was answered when her sister, Beverly Pratt, called her after visiting the ATCC for the first time and said, “ Bobbie, I have found what we have been searching for!”

Bobbie said that she knew her quest had ended when she saw the devotion to “steadfast teaching and fellowship, …breaking of bread, and prayer" at the ATCC.  “This fellowship of believers showed me the evidence of the Lord’s words, 'You will know they are my disciples by their love for one another,'" she declared.

Bobbie began to study the Bible with ATCC members, and her hunger to grow in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, to know Him as Lord, and be obedient to all His commands was evident in her humble reception of the scriptures. Her studies were characterized by immense gratitude and once the scriptures became clear, she was eager to be baptized.

Our new sister is a single mother of three children, grandmother of ten, and great-grandmother of one.  The story of her spiritual journey is amazing.  Get to know her!

We thank God for Bobbi, and for other recent additions to our ministry that are an answer to our fervent prayer that we would be able to build the core of our church in Auburn.  She adds a spirit of joy and enthusiasm, and is excited to serve!

Big Service Tomorrow!
We are excited to have groups from North River visiting our worship service tomorrow.  Both the campus ministry and the EDGE ministry will be in town.  In honor of the group, we'll have a super dinner, a taco bar for our Communion Meal that day.  Please check with Marge Gross if you haven't been given a food assignment.

Members of the North River campus ministry have actually been in Auburn since Thursday.  They hav been pouring their heart out for our ministry, evangelizing Auburn University and hanging out with our members.  A HUGE thanks to these disciples for coming down to encourage us!

We're going to have a great time serving the kids at the Brentwood Children's Home in Montgomery on Saturday, July 22.  We'll play games and have food.  Please see Kat Watson on Sunday to sign up to bring food, or to help with the activities.
