Watch the new video on Vimeo.

This new video was presented by Philadelphia Nurse-Family Partnership home visitor Erin Blair and HELP:MLP attorney Rachel Mark during their workshop at the child welfare conference convened by the Field Center for Children. Hosted at the University of Pennsylvania Law School in June, the event brought together professionals from across the country to discuss innovative ways to protect children from abuse and neglect.
July 2017 Progress Update
Since the Nursing-Legal Partnership was launched last year, 962 screenings have been completed to identify health-harming legal needs, and 116 families have received services to address those needs.

Nursing-Legal Partnership Wins Practical Playbook Award
The Nursing-Legal Partnership was recognized with a poster award at the 2017 Practical Playbook Annual Meeting, held in Washington, DC in June. The event brought together hundreds of health care experts (Including Nursing-Legal Partnership co-director Dr. Kay Kinsey, pictured) for a national dialogue on best practices for cross-sector collaborations in population health. A New Managing Attorney
We are excited to welcome Stephanie Dorenbosch as the Nursing-Legal Partnership's new Managing Attorney. After graduating from Harvard Law School in 2011, Stephanie served as a staff attorney at Friends of Farmworkers, where she led the creation of a new Medical-Legal Partnership at the Puentes de Salud health center in Philadelphia.

We bid a fond farewell to the Nursing-Legal Partnership's first Managing Attorney, Jordan Mickman, who is embarking on new adventures in New England at the Rhode Island Center for Justice. We will miss his kindness, his warmth, and his compassionate commitment to confronting injustice. We know that Jordan's superior talent as a lawyer and an advocate will continue to shine and we wish him the best of luck.
