Students throughout Indiana are returning to their schools, and for many families this may be a challenging time. Care Coordinators may support families of children with special health care needs as they undergo school evaluations, meet with Case Conference Committees (CCC), and determine the best services moving forward. This support may come in a variety of ways, including providing documentation for a CCC to review while drafting an IEP, attending the CCC to support the family and child, and providing resources regarding family and school partnerships, special education law, and drafting effective IEPs/504 plans.
