Named Top Small PRCA Rodeo for the Columbia River Circuit in 2016, the Bonner County Rodeo gets bigger and better every year. Evening action begins at 7 p.m. each night, Aug. 4-5, in the Bonner County Fairgrounds. Then stick around for the Bonner County Fair coming Aug. 8-12 - it's great family fun! |

Once-in-a-lifetime event calls for memorable outing
The solar eclipse on Aug. 21 is stirring up lots of positioning for the best place to view it - and Sandpoint is no exception. Our zip code of 83864 is expected to experience 87% obscuration during the eclipse - which peaks at 10:30 a.m. If you're looking for an equally memorable place to view the big show, there are two events lined up so far - a Solar Eclipse Cruise on Lake Pend Oreille and Schweitzer Mountain Resort's extra-early opening of the Great Escape Quad to the summit (with the first 150 riders scoring free safety viewing glasses!). |
