Hello, everyone! I hope you're having a happy summer (or winter for my friends in the Southern Hemisphere). I've been getting out to enjoy the season -- but lookie here! Proof! Photographic evidence that I have indeed been hard at work writing the third and final book in the God Awful series. It's been immensely fun and even cathartic. There's deep joy in escaping to an entertaining fictional world. And I can't thank all of you enough for all the support and enthusiasm you've shown for the series.

I am so happy to say that I'll be presenting at the fall retreat of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators - Wisconsin. This is the state's premier event for creators who specify in literature for children, and I'm thrilled to be co-presenting both a writing intensive and a creativity workshop. If you're even thinking of writing for young readers, I recommend you learn the craft through this group.
