More scheduled flights from Scandinavian countries to Southeast Asia in 2017


 
Among the sub-region cluster of Scandinavia, Sweden is forecast to become the top source market in 2017, leading the growth to Southeast Asia with impressive year-on-year 36.8 percent. Airlines operating out of Finland (7.7%) and Denmark (4.1%) are also increasing scheduled flights this year to Southeast Asia. However, departures from Norway are decreasing in 2017 with a drop of 3.2 percent in flight frequencies to Southeast Asia compared to 2016.

Over 1000 experts from 88 countries convened for four days in Manila, The Philippines, at the 6th International Conference on Tourism Statistics: Measuring Sustainable Tourism.
