Please join us for some fun and meaningful ways to celebrate the start of school. Although our Parents' Day Out doesn't begin until September, we know some of you have older children, some of you are teachers, etc. You're invited to bring your family and friends of all ages to our back to school events. At Avondale UMC, all are welcome.

Back to School Celebration - TONIGHT

Join us Tuesday, August 1 from 5:30-6:30pm as we celebrate the start of a new school year. We’ll have inflatables, games, food, fun, and more. Bring your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, neighbors, and anyone else you can think of. All are welcome.

Blessing of the Book Bags

As teachers and students prepare to begin a new school year, it is important to be in prayer for each of them. All teachers, students, administrators, and school staff are invited to bring their back packs, briefcases, tote bags, etc. to worship this Sunday, August 6 at 11:00am so we can offer a special blessing for each person and begin the new school year covered in prayer.
