With various Tall Ships visiting the Halifax Waterfront this weekend, there may be several amazing opportunities for some unique sketches!

As previously mentioned, the NSAA and Halifax Urban Sketchers are encouraging their members to plein air paint/sketch the 40 locations listed here and then submit their finished work(s) for display during Architecture Week 2017 (October 1st - 8th). The NSAA downstairs seminar room will be transformed into an art gallery in which finished work will be displayed and available for purchase. Participants can choose to attend one of the grouped sketch sessions on the link above or may visit the locations individually at any time. Be sure to check here for updates or changes.

Participants are also encouraged to use the interactive crowd-sourced sketchers' map (available here) to see already completed sketches, locations available for sketching, and even upload your own sketches!
