Blue Hole Club Update

Since our last news item we have had two fairly rough Sundays, on both occasions two DNFs but the rubber ducky was on hand to provide succour.  I would also like to thank some of the stronger swimmers who are less interested in getting points than in ensuring that weaker swimmers (like yours truly) are coping.  My personal thanks to you all - it is what camaraderie is all about.
A reminder to all our swimmers, on Sunday week (13th) we take on Scarboro Polar Bears at Trigg beach.  This annual comp. is quite simple - we all go off at "GO" and the first 4 swimmers from each Club are allocated a number according to their finishing position, and the total of the 4 swimmers determines the winning club, i.e. the lower total is the winner.  There are two things we need:
1.  All our strong swimmers to front.
2. Please wear our Trigg comp. caps so that we can more easily pick swimmers that finish.
AND don't forget to bring goodies. We need to ensure we meet the standards that the Polar Bears provide when they are the host.  Please let me know what you can provide, and our funds can add to the rest.
