Chippawa Lions Park Improvement Project: Opening Celebration
The City invites you to join the Ribbon Cutting and Community Celebration for Chippawa Lions Park Improvement Project today, Thursday, August 3rd, 2017! The opening ceremony and ribbon cutting will be held at 4:00 pm with the community celebration continuing until 6:00 pm.
Highlights of the Celebration Include:
- Free BBQ, Face Painting and Glitter Tattoos
- Free Children's Bouncy Castle
- StoryWalk® and TD Summer Reading Club with the Niagara Falls Public Library
- Splash Pad Fun
- Public Swimming (open an hour early at 5 pm)

Have Your Say: South End Off-Leash Dog Park
The new off-leash dog park is proposed to be located at the Niagara Falls Humane Society on Chippawa Parkway! Thank you to everyone who attended the public meeting and provided valuable feedback!

Niagara Falls Transit: Niagara Square Location Changes
Due to the closure of the Niagara Square in May 2017, Niagara Falls Transit will be relocating the Transit stop from the back of the building, to the front - effective Sunday, September 3, 2017.
Affected routes include:
- Daytime Service Routes: 60-65-101-103-105-111-112-113
- Evening, Sunday and Holiday Routes: 203-205-213

Tomb of the Unknown Soldier & Field of Honour Celebration
The community is invited to the service and celebration being held for the Tomb of the Unknown Solider at 10:30 a.m. (prompt) on Saturday, September 16th, 2017 at the Fairview Cemetery, located at 4501 Stanley Avenue in Niagara Falls.
Each year, an annual service during Royal Canadian Legion Week, the third week of September, typically begins with a “Parade to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.” This year, in a very special ceremony, we will properly recognize our Unknown Soldier and celebrate this new memorial to our fallen soldiers as we unveil the restoration of 200 veteran’s graves in the new Field of Honour.
