WIDC: Sharing Authentic Voices
DATE:              Tuesday, October 17
TIME:               9:00 am to 12:00 pm
LOCATION:      Same as above

We are delighted and proud to launch a new WIDC initiative that was born out of our 2014 Director's Summit in Vancouver.  The WIDC Sharing Authentic Voices initiative is intended to help build community among women directors, celebrating and sharing best practices around authentic voice. To kick off the initiative, and as a gift to our WIDC alumnae, since Marina Cordoni's interactive presentation on 'Effective Communication' is so powerful, we thought we would open it up to you on this special occasion.   Those who have already seen it will benefit from the refresher in a new cohort group.

ALSO, I am very close to completing my doctoral thesis about creating a space for authentic voice in Canada's screen industry, and I'd like to privately share a couple of key findings with you and hear your thoughts.

More sessions are being planned. Let us know if you would like to help us host a Sharing Authentic Voices session in your hometown (especially if you are located in an area where we don't usually deliver WIDC programs).
