Flying Ointments / Nightshade Ointments
My partner and I have been working hard infusing herbal oils and have finally restocked all of our nightshade ointments. The even better news is that I was able to find some good quality henbane to restock our henbane and four nightshades ointments with!
Medicinal Nightshades, when used externally, can help with pain, inflammation, anxiety, frayed nerves, and sleep issues. Our patrons use them to help relieve the pain of arthritis, fibromyalgia, pulled muscles, tendonitis, carpal tunnel, headaches and more. They are helpful to those who have trouble falling and staying asleep, and are naturally euphoric which lends them well to helping with anxiety and depressed funks.
New to the shop is a wormwood ointment, not a nightshade but an artemisia, with very similar actions minus the sedative effect of nightshades.
To make my ointment recipes we use the whole herbs in a base of gentle sunflower oil and beeswax, preserved naturally with complimentary wild harvested poplar buds which are also analgesic and anti-inflammatory. They are wonderful and potent, but avoid their use if you are allergic to salicylates (the active ingredient in aspirin and acetaminophens).
