Datavideo Announces DAC-45 4K Up/Down/Cross Converter is Now Shipping

Whittier, CA – July 27th, 2017 – Datavideo today announces that the DAC-45 4K Up/Down/Cross Converter is now shipping.

The DAC-45 is the successor to the world-renowned DAC-70, 3G-SDI Up/Down/Cross Converter. It has all the same features as the DAC-70 that our customers know and appreciate, with the addition of 4K HDMI support. Thanks to its built-in super resolution engine, users can now up convert from SD 480 resolution all the way to 4K resolution with excellent image quality and sharpness.

The DAC-45 can be used in many AV applications such as conferences, corporate presentations, live events, and houses of worship where a signal needs to be sent to a 4K projector or monitor. Even an Analog VGA signal from an older laptop can be up converted to 4K HDMI using the DAC-45.

“Customers that use DAC-70 often call it the Swiss Army Knife of converters since it will up/down convert nearly all video signals to any resolution,” says Craig Moffat, Managing Director of Datavideo US.  “The DAC-45 is the latest model of that Swiss Army Knife with the ability to cross convert signals up to 4K 60p”

Futureproof all your video equipment with the DAC-45. It is a bridge that connects all your equipment together to complete your workflow. The DAC-45 is priced at $849 MSRP and it is shipping now.
