We're working hard on scheduling a bevy of classes for your beading and crafting pleasure this fall! Take a gander at a few coming up soon, and to see all of our classes, please click here. If you use the drop down box on the website page to view the calendar by month, you'll be able to see the entire month's schedule at a glance. Just be sure to hit "go" when switching between months!

Don't forget open beading is still being held every Monday from 1:00 - 4:00 pm, and First Friday Art Therapy Nights are held every first Friday of the month from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Feel free to bring anything you'd like to work on, and join us in wine, snacks, community, and camaraderie!

Roundabout Earrings with Brie Bampton

These lovely earrings are sure to become staples in your earring wardrobe, as they are inexpensive, quick to work up, and uncomplicated. Anyone who can handle a needle and thread and stitch through holes in beads can be successful making these pretty earrings. They can be made with or without the Swarovski rivoli in the center, but we think they look just stunning with. You will have several color ways from which to choose, and additional kits will be available for you to purchase after class. All materials for one pair of earrings with nickel- and lead-free ear wires are included in your class fee.

Make your own Findings with Brenda Mason

Saturday, September 9, 2017 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Never be without an essential finding again after you learn to make your own with our newest instructor, Brenda Mason. Brenda will lead you in the techniques of turning simple wire into earring findings, jump rings, head pins, S-clasps, figure-8 links, and more in this three-hour class. You will leave with multiples of findings to take home and apply to your jewelry creations. No experience is required, and all materials are included in your class fee.

Yoga Bracelet Basics with Brie Bampton

Saturday, September 9, 2017 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Create a mindful bracelet for yourself, your yoga instructor, or a friend, as you learn the ins and outs of basic bead stringing. In this class, you will learn how to professionally finish strung designs and also how to turn a wrapped loop so that you can make earrings if you wish. This bracelet features nine different species of semi-precious stones said to have healing properties, a faceted real crystal bead, as well as an equality symbol and peace bead made in California. A pewter clasp in a stylized swirl design, symbolizing motherhood, eternity, and women, finishes off the bracelet.

Basic Bead Stringing with Brie Bampton

Wednesday, August 23, 4:00 - 6:00 pm

This is where to begin your journey with beads! Leave class with a finished bracelet and earrings in one of several color ways; please visit the shop to see other choices and to put your name on one of the kits available. In this class, you'll learn how to string, how to properly crimp and finish ends for durability and a professional finish; and how to turn wrapped loops into secure earrings. Additional kits will be made available after class should you wish to take one home and practice your new skill! Just a warning: Bead stringing can be very addictive - not to mention fun and soul-soothing!
