View this email in your browser
Good Afternoon <<First Name>>,
We are so pleased to see the fabulous attendance at the B31 events, only wish I was a little younger and could head to the YPN Trivia Night tonight! Tried to suggest that I am young at heart but sadly that didn't cut it here in the office.

Couple of things coming up next week with the Mindshop Program kicking off on Monday, we love this initiative which sees business welcome Year 10 students into their premises to help them find solutions to real problems. We thank Simplex Insurance, Munash Natural Fertilisers, City of Ballarat, Federation Business School and Ballarat Tech School who will be hosting students from Ballarat Grammar, St Pats, Mt Clear College and Ballarat High School.

Also coming up next week are the daily pages in the Courier featuring our wonderful 2017 Federation Business School Commerce Ballarat Business Excellence Award Finalists. keep an eye out for these in print and online.

Got your tickets for the Foto Bienalle yet?? Starts August 19!!

Cheers
Jodie

Let us not take Ballarat’s beauty for granted!  We are indeed privileged to have some of the grandness architecture and heritage buildings in Australia however, don’t forget our fabulous green spaces.  Take time out and appreciate  our  tree lined streets, gardens  & parks,  playgrounds  and  private gardens.  We delight in our seasons from our sensuous springs,  clear hot summers, breathtaking autumns and our embracing winters !   Our green corridors and street plantings are why our air is clean and our skies so clear.   The primary reason why people decided thousands of years ago to grow plants was to sustain their bodies. This is still a very valid reason today, but there are many other reasons why gardening is beneficial to our physical health. Some of these include stress relief, exercise, brain health, nutrition, healing and immunity.  Make time in your day and get into nature -  plant a tree this winter for future generations to appreciate and admire!
