Lupin as a allergen
FSANZ amended Standard 1.2.3 to include Lupin as a allergen.

NSW Container Deposit update
NSW Government has announced Cleanaway and Tomra as joint operators of the NSW container deposit scheme, due to launch December 1, 2017.
500 designated recycling outlets will refund customers a 10 cent refund per eligible container. The refund can be:

The NSW Government will phase in the commencement of these requirements of the CDS Regulation by 24 months to enable beverage suppliers to run through their existing stock, and is yet to finalise the refund mark.
All first suppliers of containers must  enter into a Supply Arrangement with the Scheme Coordinator, Exchange for Change, then register their containers with the EPA before the Scheme starts on 1 December 2017.
