Moreton Bay Arts Council Newsletter August 2017
Thank you to all the Artists / Creatives who entered their artwork, in the 6 local shows this year. Your annual exhibiting supports the need for these grassroots events to show off our region's creative handmade and home grown talents.
- The last 2 MBAC exhibitions at the Stagedoor Gallery Redcliffe Cultural Centre (ground level) for Michael Keen and the late Sandra Hines have been successful with 5 sales. The current exhibition “Colours of July” so far has achieved 7 sales (still time to check it out last day 15th Aug) and (Level one) Nan Dingle is downsizing her art collection with “Make an Offer” opportunity with 2 sales so far, lots of interest.

Important events, opportunities coming up:
- "How to run an Arts Business” workshop plus lunch 26th Aug - Book NOW : $25
- Creative Voices Forum 7th October Free Entry & Lunch – register by 27th Sept.
- Assist the MBAC at the AGM, Thursday 12th October by joining the committee or take up a support role. For expressions of interest please contact Janice Charlish. All positions will become vacant. Please consider any role to assist the continued success of the Moreton Bay Arts Council. A summary is listed here.
- Book early for “Handmade meets the Arts” Xmas markets, Saturday 25th November.

at the Old Fire Station, 395 Oxley Ave, Redcliffe.
