Disease processes or degenerative sates indicate a long-term dysfunction of biochemical and energetic dis-homeostasis, or imbalance. There are typically measurable factors that determine this phase. Thus, you would think restorative actions would be sought out… so where did we go wrong?
In America, allopathic medicine is called “traditional,” while any practice that is not through a medical doctor is considered “alternative”. Allopathic medicine is also called mainstream care. Being in the mainstream implies main treatment, which then translates to treatment of choice. I believe any form of dis-order takes time to develop. That also means there are warning signs! Indications of disorder were appearing whether you were aware of them or not. The sad news is, customary means of healing thy self are completely absent in the American culture. The good news is that traditional methods of evaluations and treatment have not been completely lost! Seeking a practitioner trained in various stress reduction modalities, such as myself, helps to support your body's wisdom. This is particularly important in resolution of chronic or previously un-resolvable health issues. Why? In my practice I promote the concept that you know best. I am simply here to guide you through the process and oversee progress and changes having clinical knowledge of what to look for. This is the true healing process!
Eastern practices such as Yoga, mediation and Ayurveda are accelerating in popularity here in the west. All which are great to familiarize yourself with. On the detoxification page of my website I provide you information of seasonal tips and recipes to promote balance using these eastern philosophies.
