Every Wednesday morning, one of Codeword’s talented designers—Emilio Ramos—skates to Midtown Comics in Times Square to scoop the latest issues of his favorite comics. In an exclusive feature, Emilio geeks out about what he’s looking forward to seeing tomorrow morning:
Emilio's Comic Book Corner
“I’m thrilled that Mister Miracle #1 from writer Tom King and artist Mitch Gerads finally hits shelves tomorrow. They’re the creative pairing behind some of the most memorable issues in the current Batman run, so buzz for this 12-part series has been building for months. Mister Miracle was created by comic legend Jack Kirby in the ’70s, but has never enjoyed a spotlight quite like this. I’m excited to see how King’s incisive writing and Gerads’ expressive frames realize a lesser-known character in the DC universe.”
