Baby Basket for Stefanie Ruddy
Starting this Sunday
As a church, we'd like to bless JC & Stefanie Ruddy as they're expecting a baby girl. Their Baby Basket will be on the back table on Sunday at church for anyone in the church to contribute to and fill up the basket with gifts.
Stefanie is not registered anywhere, but is in need of diapers and baby girl items.

Men, the annual Steak and Corn Feed is this Sunday at Village Park! Make sure to invite your friends. Donations are suggested for the meal, please pay for your friend. Sign up online.

Redeemer Church: The Refuge Fundraiser
Saturday, August 26, 10:30 a.m.
"The Refuge" is a ministry from Redeemer Church which desires to provide hope & help for men who are enslaved by alcohol or drug addictions.
The Refuge is hosting a Color Run followed by Live Music (including High Pointe's very own Josh Sanders & worship team) and free-will donation BBQ.
Feel free to come for the music & BBQ even if you don't participate in the race!
- Pre-Registration by Aug 11th: $25
- Registration after Aug 11th (can't guarantee shirt size): $30
- Cost includes a t-shirt and glasses
- Registration begins at 10 a.m. at the Winterset High School
- Race begins at 10:30 a.m.

Maggie Draisey: Minor Surgery
Maggie Draisey, daughter of Brandon & Tiara, will be having a minor surgery on Tuesday, August 25th for an endoscopy test. The test and biopsies will look at her stomach and intestines to check for issues like Celiac and Crohn's Disease or other possible problems. Pray that the procedure will go smoothly and be as safe as possible.

Pray for our leadership as they continue to pray and seek God's will and direction on purchasing land for a permanent location for High Pointe.
