Holy 96Boards Wikipedia, Batman! Two years later...

Introduction

OpenHours Countdown! Click for instructions on how to join us today

After two years 96Boards is finally the proud owner of a Wikipedia page (at least for now)... Don't believe me? You will just have to check it out.

Now since this is still very new, we are waiting for the Wikipedia editors to approve the page. I have been put through the ringer all day battling guidelines and policies, hopefully we will prevail!

The new NeonKey

The NeonKey is a new 96Boards Mezzanine product jam packed with sensors. It was pushed out by Tocoding only a week ago and I am personally chomping at the bit to get my hands on one. So, I placed my order, and now we wait... As soon as it arrived, rest assured, we will be doing something very cool on OpenHours!

Find out more about the NeonKey on the 96Boards website.

This week (Aug 3, 2017)

OpenHours Episode #64 - This week on OpenHours we will meet with HIJ! Along with a recap of last week's amazing episode with the Brazilian partnership program, we will also be talking with HIJ about their voice assistant for 96Boards. This project/product not only builds in the adaptation for AI adapter, voice acquisition, noise reduction processing, ASR and NLP semantic understanding platform, but also docks with live and video on demand apps. It can be woke up and interrupted by “Hello, Xiaole” which truly achieves the idea “Hands Free Eyes Free”. HIJ voice assistant can achieve voice interaction dialogue within 10 meters, but also can listen to music, search movies and watch TV live for free. The folks at HIJ will be giving us access to their code, resources and more! See you there.

Last week (July 27, 2017)

OpenHours Episode #63 - This time in OpenHours, we will be joined (in person/on site) by all the winners from the Brazilian Partnership Program and their entourage! In person and live, you can join in on the fun as we take over the Qualcomm Thinkabit lab on Qualcomm campus San Diego, California! Our seasoned OpenHours engineer (Rajan), former featured participant and event oraganizer (Bruno Evangelista), Embarcados CMO (Thiago Lima), and the group of winners will join us to share their experience in organizing, running, and participating in this amazing new way to hack on the 96Boards platform and contribute to the greater community in a positive way. Keep an eye on the countdown, we will be there when the clocks hits zeros!
