OLG Selects New Niagara Falls Entertainment Centre
Ontario Lottery & Gaming Corporation (OLG) announced their selected partners, Niagara Falls Entertainment Partners to design, build, finance & maintain the $130 million new theatre centre. Located in the Fallsview Casino Resort district, in the City of Niagara Falls the new 5,000-seat theatre development will generate 800 jobs during the construction phase. Scheduled to open in mid-2019 and will be operated by the OGC’s Niagara Gaming Bundle selected proponent group expected to be announced at the end of 2018.

Multi-Million Investment Project Underway At Casino Niagara
Casino Niagara embarks on the next phase of an exciting $7 million investment that will deliver an elevated gaming and entertainment experience for all visitors. The current phase of the project focuses on a transformation of the second level into Niagara’s top destination for sports fans, food enthusiasts, entertainment seekers and loyal visitors. Completion is scheduled for the fall of this year.
Aligning with Casino Niagara’s promise to deliver “just plain more fun,” the project includes a $3.5 million spend on infrastructure and redesign for a fresh entertainment experience that greets visitors as they walk through the doors. An additional $3.5 million is being invested in technology and gaming, to offer guests the next generation of gaming. This new investment is in addition to recently completed projects on the Market Buffet, Gaming Floor, Players Advantage Club booth, new slot products and renovations to the Conservatory.
The investment in renovations and improvements is part of Casino Niagara’s plan to attract both loyal and new guests and keep business strong.
HOCO Entertainment & Resorts' Coaster Go Kart track is currently under construction and set to open for the 2018 tourism season. The structure will be North America’s largest elevated Go Kart track facility and will be the first of its kind in Canada marrying traditional Go kart excitement with the added thrill of an elevated coaster track structure.

Unit Sales decreased slightly by 2.5% year to date compared to last year but overall a busy month. Prices remain balanced month over month and up year to date an incredible 28.9%. Average Days on Market is 25 and months of supply moved from 1.4 to 1.8 (how many months it would take to sell all active listings at end of June). All indicators represent a gradual move from the Strong Sellers’ market we experienced in the first quarter to a more Balanced / Sellers’ market.
The region is still very attractive and affordable with detached homes @ $425,596, Attached homes @ $341,122, for an overall average sale price year to date @ $408,239.”
