Hi all,
It's been a busy time since we returned from two weeks in Australia. Here are a few things that are happening with me now and in the near future.

My photo (technically a "scanogram") shown above, "Drowning," won an Award of Excellence at the opening reception of the "Water" exhibition, a show co-sponsored by the Chicago Alliance of Visual Artists (CAVA) and the North Shore Art League (NSAL). It's an excellent show and runs through August 18.

I currently have three photos (one of which is shown above) on display at the "Summer Exhibition" at Duncan Miller Gallery in Santa Monica, CA. This is an exhibition of work by CollectorWorks, the gallery's hybrid online/physical space project involving artists selected by the gallery's collector base. I will be having a solo exhibition of my "Noir" series opening later this month at the A Smith Gallery in Johnson City, TX, a small town outside of Austin. They will be showing 16 images from the series, including the one above. I will be attending the opening reception on August 26 and hope to see some of you there.

Two of my "Noir" images (one of which is above) will be showing in Barcelona in September. This is the result of the series being chosen as a finalist in the Alternative Processes category for the 9th Pollux Awards, an annual international photography competition.
