Our Early Bird booking season, saving £15 on all class fees,
finishes at midnight on Tuesday 22nd August for the new term starting on
12th / 13th / 14th September.

CLASS NUMBERS - some classes already full

Whistle 1 is already sold out and we have a waiting list. Several fiddle classes have only two or three places left. Our absolute beginners Fiddle and Ukulele are a bit on the slow side, so if you know anyone looking to start a new instrument, give them a shout!

We're delighted to announce a new daytime singing class for parents & pre-school children at the Eric Liddell Centre on Tuesdays from 12th Sept, 10.30am-11.30am with renowned song tutor Amy Lord. Learn Scots songs in a fun environment for under-5s. All welcome - no previous knowledge of Scots language or music required! Supported by the Tasgadh / Creative Scotland Small Grants scheme.

James Gillespie's High School - more info to follow soon

As you may know from our previous newsletter, we are moving to new premises from September for the evening class programme. We will be visiting the school shortly to work out the practical arrangements and confirm entrances, room numbers and so on, and will publish this via our newsletter in advance of the start of term. We will also have SMG staff and board volunteers on the ground on the first nights to help people find their way round.
