Immediate Call to Volunteer: Moria Refugee Camp (Lesvos, Greece)

Approximately 3,300 refugees representing 44 nations are stuck waiting in Moria to receive asylum. The conditions are overcrowded and challenging. To serve the men, women, and children who live here, there is a constant need for volunteers to maintain adequate operation of the camp. In order to effectively cover the responsibilities we have to best serve these individuals, we need to have a minimum number of volunteers available to do so.

YWAM Lesvos is asking for your help in order to accomplish this and we, as YWAM Refugee Circle want to support them!

Within the next two weeks, the number of volunteers we have available to serve in camp threatens to be at an all time low.

Currently, there is only a handful of individual volunteers confirmed to serve through the entire months of September, October, November, and December. If you know someone who has considered coming to Lesvos, or feel the call to come, please prayerfully consider serving with us as we have the unique opportunity to show these stranded peoples the love of God each day in camp.

The need is immediate and our request for individual volunteers, groups, or teams is urgent. Will you join us?
